Marketing Analytics Specialist

Remote - USA or Canada

The Marketing Analytics Specialist is responsible for supporting the organizational analytics strategy in the areas of measurement practice, data management, martech platform administration, reporting and visualization standards, as well as outcomes-based insight consultation.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding and experience in using technical solutions and information to answer practical business questions. This person will use their analytics skills and business acumen to assess marketing utilization, effectiveness, and value to make recommendations on future efforts.

 

The individual will manage manual and automated processes that provide critical information from a variety of sources to the organization. The individual will support assigned marketing and sales operational functions as well as work cross-functionally to champion data driven decision-making across the business. Tasks span the area of program development and valuation, demand/lead-gen processes, online/offline channel performance, and other marketing, sales, and operations related disciplines. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Creating and managing measurement a framework for performance assessment
Presenting progress readouts on strategic plan and annual operating plan activities
Defining a marketing metrics, reporting and key measurement deliverables
Executing analytics project plans in support of the Marketing business units
Establishment and maintenance of reporting framework in line with best practice standards in reporting
Integrated reporting capability to facilitate self-serve/on demand reporting
Campaign performance assessments and forecasting
Analyze online and offline customer behavior and journey and build multi-touch attribution model
Use technical skills to merge various structured and unstructured data sources
Produce impact analysis and data-related stories that drives decision making
 

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Prior experience in Marketing and Sales analytics and reporting
Practical user and administration experience with Tableau, Power BI, Adobe Experience Cloud, Google, Marketo, Salesforce, Snowflake, API development, and other relevant data sources and reporting tools a plus
Knowledge and aptitude working with various database technologies
Strong critical thinking skills with a well-informed approach to problem solving
Must be able to interact and work with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with all levels of Marketing organization
Must be able to work independently, be self-motivated, with a strong sense of accountability, and have always-be-learning mindset
Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to execute on compounding tasks in multiple projects
Strong written and verbal communication including excellent presentation skills
 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant operational and analytics experience
Prior experience in data management, martech development and administration
Prior experience with statistical modeling and data interpretation
Prior experience with report, scorecard, and dashboard management
