At our agency, a HubSpot Technologist is the go-to technical resource for everything within HubSpot. The ideal candidate will be an expert at setting up, integrating and executing within HubSpot and other popular digital marketing technology platforms in order to assist with both client and internal work.

Responsibilities

  • Managing technical aspects of key marketing systems, most notably HubSpot Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, Service Hub, Operations Hub, CRM and CMS
  • Monitoring and maintaining data quality within a marketing database
  • Leading the setup of new HubSpot accounts, including importing contacts, syncing data to/from outside platforms and training clients on how to use their portal(s)
  • Integrating outside platforms with HubSpot (e.g., Salesforce, SurveyMonkey, etc.)
  • Setting up and managing HubSpot workflows to nurture contacts and/or automate marketing and sales processes
  • Creating, monitoring and optimizing key conversion points in the marketing funnel, including landing pages, website calls-to-action (CTAs) and lead-generating forms
  • Building email templates, landing pages and website pages using HubSpot’s drag and drop editor, but tweaking behind-the-scenes code to customize the look and/or functionality
  • Evaluating new technologies and add-on applications to stay on the cutting-edge of marketing tools, with an emphasis on improving data integrity
  • Analyzing KPIs and generating monthly reports on campaign performance
  • Working closely with the account services team on both client and internal projects
  • Staying up-to-date with HubSpot product updates to help clients get the most out of their subscription

Requirements

  • Expert-level knowledge of HubSpot, with 3-5+ years of hands-on experience using the platform on a regular basis
  • A solid understanding of how data integrations work between HubSpot, WordPress, Salesforce and other systems
  • Proven experience improving marketing performance using split-testing, audience segmentation and conversion optimization techniques
  • A natural curiosity for new marketing technology and a passion for getting platforms to integrate together
  • A borderline obsession with attention to detail, goal setting and data analysis
  • The confidence to present ideas and make recommendations in front of clients
  • The ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment, juggling multiple projects during any given day
