As Senior Marketing Operations Manager, reporting to the Head of Growth, your main mission will be to build and continuously improve a scalable lead generation machine. In order to do so, you will be working closely with internal teams (Sales, Data and Marketing) and external providers, and be responsible for the building, improvement and maintenance of the whole technological stack (tracking, databases, applications, processes). You will manage a small team, starting with a junior program manager and an intern. In 2021 we will focus on marketing automation, scoring, and funnel optimization for our B2B audience. In 2022, we will continue this journey and add tools to better serve our community of freelancers, to more efficiently produce and share all types of content (internally and externally), and to make the overall marketing team more productive (project management, team collaboration, etc.)

  • Define our new lead generation strategy to support our ambitious objectives of growth.
  • Audit existing marketing automation tools and processes and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure that the technical solutions meet the needs of the wider marketing team and can increase autonomy level and better decision making for all.
  • Define and deploy lead scoring model working closely with sales operations and data team.
  • Deploy nurturing campaigns (with the support of the Program Manager) targeted at Malt’s B2B and freelancing audience
  • Work closely with Sales Operations (including administrator) and data teams to deploy lead management processes and optimize lead volume and conversion rates.
  • In charge of the enablement of the marketing and communication team members on the tools and processes.- Manage and develop a small team including a junior program manager and an intern for now (with the understanding that the team will grow in 2022.)
  • As a senior member of the Growth team, work closely with your peers on common initiatives such as the new corporate website, the launch of new countries, or the development of a comprehensive growth dashboard.
  • Make “build or buy” recommendations regarding new elements of the marketing technology stack. With both “build” or “buy” options, manage the project to help new solutions fit the need, guarantee tracking consistency, ensure adoption, etc.


  • 6+ years of experience in a Marketing Operations role, preferably in the tech sector.
  • Demonstrated success in deploying new systems and processes (not just managing an existing stack.)
  • Superior understanding of Growth and demand generation approaches and techniques.
  • Deep knowledge of at least one marketing automation tool.
  • Deep knowledge of at least one marketing automation tool.
  • Good working knowledge of SQL / Html & CSS.
  • Strong analytical skills. Strong communication skills and fluent in English.
  • Previous experience managing a small team would be a plus.
